Auditions for the high school Cabaret Night will take place this coming Wednesday, August 23rd after school in the choir room.  If you are interested in performing an act for this talent show, please sign up for an audition time in the hallway outside the choir room.  The Cabaret is open to all Greenwood students, so please come share your talents.  Cabaret Night is sponsored by the choir council. See choir president Mia Carrillo or Mr. Borns with any questions.

The volleyball teams swept Beech Grove last night in their home opener with a great group effort. JV won in 2 games. Varsity won in 3 games. Team leaders were Gabi Oakes and Alyssa Stilley with 7 kills each. Megan Johns led the team on defense with 8 digs. Lauren Battinau brought the heat serve with 6 aces. The girls travel to the Plainfield Invitational tomorrow before returning with a home conference opener vs Whiteland on Tuesday. Thank you to all of the staff and students that were there last night! Hope to see you all and more on Tuesday.

Attention Seniors: The Lilly Endowment Scholarship is now available. Please see Mrs. Laug in the College and Career Center if you have questions.

Environmental Club will meet during Power Hours 1 and 2 in Mrs. Rotchotte’s room, Room K204, for recycling. Bring your lunches with you so club members have enough time to get all the bins.

The callout meeting for Thespians and Drama Club will take place next Monday after school in the choir room. We will reveal the fall play and discuss plans for Thespians and Drama Club. Future meeting times will be discussed as well. See Mr. Borns or Ms. Kendall if you cannot attend.

Attention all female students, Mrs. Lietzen and Mrs. Gearhart would like to invite you to join them on Fridays during PowerHour 2 to engage in fellowship and community. They will meet in Room C109.

All girls interested in playing Powder Puff for the 2017 game on Sept. 21 must attend a mandatory meeting during Power Hour 2 today in Ms. Foster’s room, Room K210

On Sept. 29, Ball State will hold an Explore Education Day. Students interested in the field of education should see Mrs. Laug for more details.

Attention Seniors, if you are planning on submitting college applications in the next week, Mrs. Laug will be hosting a seminar on Requesting College Transcripts today during Power Hour 2 in LGI 2. 

The American Sign Language Interest Club will meet today and, then, every Monday and Friday during first Power Hour in Mrs. Brown’s room, Room C209.

All swimming and diving team athletes must come to Room L207 during PowerHour to pick up their fundraising materials. See Coach Hockersmith with any questions or concerns.

Student drivers need parking tags for this school year by the end of school today. Tags may be purchased in the main office for $15.
