The Greenwood Education Foundation, initiated by Dr. DeKoninck in 2015, is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities through engagement and collaboration of the staff, parents, and the community to promote student excellence.
Since the inception of the Foundation, we have awarded twenty-nine grants to teachers in the the amount of $29,636.84. By funding classroom initiatives, our goal is to impact student learning, promote student excellence, and create a path to brighter future for all students.

In recent years, the State has lowered funding to our schools. There is no longer funding for professional development. Our goal is to provide the means for our schools and staff to create unique learning opportunities for our students. With everyone’s help we will be even better!
