If you would like to be part of this, you can either send in your baby picture/recent picture with your name on it, and give it to Mrs. Vest (Rm 210) or you can, instead, attach a jpg, png or gif version of your pictures to an email and send it to this address: This email address is being protected from spambots. Reality Store
Greenwood Middle School News
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 8TH GRADE REALITY STORE!

Plans are underway for this year’s Reality Store. Reality Store is a program for 8th graders and will be held on March 15, 2018 in the Auxiliary Gym. Students will select a career based on their interests and GPA.  The students will assume the role of a 28 year old and must manage a check book. They will be given wages for a month and then they must set up a bank account as well as make house payments, buy furniture, pay for child care, bills, etc.  Parents and community workers are needed to staff the various booths to talk with the students about their needs and budgets. No preparation is needed on your part and all information that you need will be given to you the day of the Reality Store. Workers are needed for all day and half day positions. If you can help with this year’s Reality Store, please contact Kyrian Marshall at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 889-4040 ext. 4503. This is a very worthwhile learning experience for our 8th graders and we couldn’t do this program without the help of our volunteers. I look forward to hearing from you! Please consider helping that day!

pdf Click here (148 KB) for information about registering multiple students to the same parent account.
pdf Click here (72 KB) for information about WEB and APP availability.

*There are a few ground rules to registering for a parent account in Canvas:

1.       The parent needs to know the students’ lunch number and PowerSchool password.
2.       Parents will have to validate the account setup based on an email confirmation – they need to use real email accounts or else they will never complete the process.
3.       Only one account is needed – multiple kiddos can be observed with the same parent account.
